Following to massive reaction from Muslim around the world against Pope Benedict XVI about Islam being as a violent religion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said comments of Pope Benedict regarding Islam are regrettable and affront to our Holy Prophet Mohammad and Islam.
A press statement issued in Kabul said the remarks showed an inadequate understanding of Islam and warrants for an apology to Muslims, the followers of a religion of peace and reconciliation.
In these circumstances, where there is a demanding need for measures towards reconciliation of different beliefs, such expressions increase tension among the followers of different religions.

Five years ago at the same day the world witnessed an event which didn’t happen in the history. At this day more than three thousand lost their live. At this day lots of others became sad and wept but here in Afghanistan this was a day that after, each Afghan was dreaming to his freedom for his country and his life. A alike releasing from jail indeed. A day which came up to give live to Afghans.
After September 11th one of the most urgent action and indication from U.S was attacking against Taliban regime which also received help from northern alliance and people of Afghanistan. It was expecting that the U.S will stand beside Afghanistan to the end for removal of terror from this land.
The president of the United States George W. Bush has promised for developing and building Afghanistan as a model in the region and among Muslim countries but regretfully contrary to Afghan expectations from the United States there is no news from making Afghanistan as a model or development.
When U.S started war against Sadam hosein regime, the world and U.S attention diverted from Afghanistan to Iraq, in some point they left their serious tasks uncompleted in order to get success in Iraq.
In the five years not only the terrorism eradicated but increased not only in Afghanistan but other Muslim countries. Unfortunately the security situation in both country Afghanistan and Iraq is getting worse. Suicide attacks increased in the capital, the continuing of this situation people think that they lost their dreams for peace and prosperity of their country.
The world and U.S made a mistake which thought Taliban after their fall has finished. Whereas they returned back to their religious schools. The United States underestimated the Taliban which recently the Coalition Forces accepted that they made a mistake. The United States and the world community never tried to talk and put pressure the Pakistan government that supporting the Taliban.

Recently Insecurity and suicide attacks against coalition forces and Afghan forces are not stopped but increasing in southern Afghanistan. Last week on 31st of July U.S forces handed over the peace keeping responsibility in southern Afghanistan to NATO forces.
NATO authorities have mentioned that this mission would be the most difficult one in 57 years of this organization.
The most important thing which nowadays people expecting from NATO forces is to avoid killing civilian as U.S forces had killed and destroyed many villages by air strike.
They say; how long this land should burn in fire and how long we should hear war and war. More than two decades of war, everything demolished.
Although I believe that no differ between U.S and forces and NATO being in Afghanistan but the most important things are to not experience the mistakes from previous. For the last years of American troops in southern Afghanistan nothing has changed rather than strengthening the Taliban and terrorists.
- NATO should pay attention in the following facts which are mostly sensitive for Afghanistan and its people.
- Training the Afghan National Army and Police which are mostly involved in smuggling and Mafia.
- Involving in helping and reconstruction and helping the repatriated refugees from neighboring countries.
Respecting the people’s religious believes and traditions which are very sensitive.
I believe if they pay attention in the above sentences and receive the experiences from American forces they will succeed if not, their destiny would be the same as coalition forces has experience in the past years.

On may 29 a road accident by coalition forces caused a bloody riot in Kabul city on Monday as known yet tens of people were killed in and more than hundred including the police forces wounded.
The riot began while a coalition force vehicle heavily loaded was cruising down from a slopping way hit the coalition vehicle then a tax, leaving one dead and six civilians wounded badly. Very soon people are gathering to witness the accident; suddenly they began throwing stones on coalition forces and police. The coalition force and police were surrounded by protestors to disperse them coalition force and police open fire on them which left more dead and wounded. A report says that the victims are exceeded from 45 people.
---------
The only thing which made people suspicious and pessimistic to the government are the deals and agreements which signed hidden and not giving reports or notice to the citizens. Such deals made people change their motivation and view to the government. For example a few days before their was an argument in parliament about why coalition forces are killing the civilians and why the U.S soldiers periodically killed the ANA (afghan national army) soldiers even did not excused?
As the U.S army spokesman told to media that it was a mistake but on the other side they should remind that this mistakes harm the honor and the reputation of the Karzai government. U.S soldiers should give report to the government and government has the responsibility to inform the citizens. They should clarify that why they attack on the villages which they have no specific information about the Taliban which attacked from where? Taliban are alike guerilla, they do not have a specific base.
This would not help to remove the Taliban from this territory easily. U.S and coalition army should handle the heavy job in supporting the Afghan police and Afghan army to teach them how to handle struggle against the insurgents inside the country. Because Afghans know their land better than foreign troops. This will reduce the numbers of victims.
Otherwise, if they do not pay attention, this may lead the future of this country to difficulties to numerous. The government should listen to their citizen what people request for. The government should clarify each step going forward with their dealers. The government should reports annually what has done and what are pending.
