On the course of Silk Road

--------
The biggest pass which created fairs and favor to travelers was the “Haji Yaqub” pass. The Haji Yaqub pass is the biggest and the highest one. We already had passed lots of others. The pass was filled with snow and it was stormy. An old traveler with his wife who came pilgrimage was behind me, they were telling weird words of God’s names and lots of others whom are followed by lots of people like prophet and imam. They were asking God’s help repeatedly.

When we were going to a slope and reached almost the end, the old man behind me shouted “Oh! There, the smoke comes up from the house We survived!”

The other whispered, “Yes we really survived. This was the most dangerous pass not only difficulty with snow, but robbers too.” They pulled their hands up, spelling words of Arabic and thanked god.

More than two hours later we were going into the darkness. The narrow road caused a traffic-jam and we stopped until the others left the road. After a few hours we reached a small coffee shop, which was almost full. There was only one room, where food was served. It had also a place for sleeping. I asked people where we were and what the name of the place stood for.

“This place is called Sarayee Markhanah” said the owner of the coffee shop. He told me the long history of this road and the “Sarayee”. He insisted that this was one of the roads linked with Asian countries.

I didn’t have a voice recorder to record the story. He was very old, almost 80 years old.
I realized that I am on one of the Silk Road routes. The Silk Road is the famous route where the Asian countries linked together. The Silk Road recently became a symbolic political aim for the western world to follow their worldwide political strategies in central Asia. Today, this road has a lot of specific signs telling its history.

“Sarayee” is a Farsi word meaning a big garage with lots of rooms for travelers and their horses. Lots of custodians took care of the luggage. People came from Japan and other Asian countries, through this route to India.

Several Sarayee still have their signs for counting time and distance. For example from this Sarayee to another one takes a whole day walking until the next one is reached.
I just asked the people and they named a few of them like: “Sarayee kotal onai”, “Sarayee duzdqol”, “Sarayee saisang”, “Sarayee Du Sang”, “Sarayee Markhanah” and “Sarayee Kotale Mullah yaqub”.

In the books written by historical writers, the Silk Road continues until Bamian but the end seems lost, it’s never mentioned where it goes after that. The reason why the history writer couldn’t follow continuing the Silk Road is still not mentioned and it remains anonymous.
But now I am on the route of one of the Silk Roads and in one of the famous Sarayees with the name of “Sarayee Markhanah”. I am writing this post from a coffee shop in this Sarayee. I don’t know the name of coffee shop. My travelers and others who came late in the evening are all sleeping. I am writing my diary and two others are talking about their adventures of being in different frontlines of fights during the Soviet Union invasion.

This place is in “Behsood” district, part of “Maidan Wardak” province. The room is almost 5x10m, more than 25 people sleep stuck to each other. Their breath makes me think of the sound of a generator, but not normal.

Tomorrow I should follow my way to the destination and step by step get it gets clear where I am going. I never before stepped around here, or heard the name of these places.

I just went to the toilet; I saw a young boy shivering out of the door, wearing a summer suit. “From which tropical climate you came here?” I asked him. “From behind the backside of this hill, called Gurdam, just 30 minutes walking” he answered. “How did you come here? By car or walking?” I asked him. “I came by walking here, there is no road where a car can pass, but a motorcyclist can get through the narrow passage.” He answered.

He told me there is a big valley, where 3500 people live, “But we don’t have road, we don’t have a clinic, we don’t have schools.” I asked him if they don’t have a hospital where they take their patients. “Mostly they die, but it happens rarely that they are taken to a hospital for treatment, because the hospital is so far from our place. The nearest hospital is 60 kilo meter away from us”, he said.

Almost sixty thousand people, and they have to take their patients to Tagab hospital in Behsood.
This is after five years of Karzai government.

In the last five years billions of dollars were spent in Afghanistan, but if you ask the people if they ever received any help from the government, they answer, “we think we are forgotten and we are probably not from Afghanistan.”

Trip to Forgotten Land

--------
I left Kabul on a misty morning. Dust and smoke covered the face of the city, the laps of the mountains had been filled with snow by the clouds that came rolling down. It was different from other mornings. I couldn't see a hundred meters away, and worried about what would be ahead of me. But I left anyway.

We were 14 passengers, including the drivers, planning to reach the mountains in a van. I bought a small radio to listen to the news. As I walked out of the garage, the driver yelled: "Hey man, hurry up! We're leaving soon!"

The driver was afraid to leave the main road. The reason, he said, was the traffic police. "The traffic police always makes problems and asks money for nothing," he explained. I was sitting on a bench in the van with three guys from the Ministry of Education. The two beside me started to talk. Their breath smelled horribly and even the chewing gum I offered them did nothing to end the nauseating odor. I covered my nose with a shawl and didn't remove it during the whole trip.

We passed the Maidan shar, where three cars had been robbed by the Taliban not too long ago. The Afghan National Army (ANA) fought with insurgents here recently. Going down a hill, we saw the wreckage of a car that had been blown up.

"My brother and my wife were killed in this car," the driver sighed. "My brother worked for an international NGO."

Just minutes later we reached a narrow passage entering a small valley. "Look! This is the place where the three carred were robbed by the robbers!" said Ali, the driver.

We arrived at an old bazaar where we'd stop for lunch, and I couldn't take my eyes off wrecked cars ridden with bullet holes. This was Siakhak, in the district of Jalez, with a population of about 40,000 people. Eight years ago, when Kabul was captured by the Taliban and I fled from the city, I passed here on my way to Mazara-e-sharif. Then, this was a very busy and crowded bazaar. Now it was empty. I walked down the street and took pictures of the walls with all the bullet holes. I saw some people and asked them what had happened. They told me that when the Taliban captured this place they destroyed it because the bazaar was the main source of income for the Hazarajat and there was a military base of the Hizbe Wahdat party nearby -- they were fighting the Taliban.

This was not the first time the bazaar had been destroyed. When the Soviet Union invaded in 1979, the same had happened.

We continued our trip and reached the top of the Onai mountain, covered in snow. We arrived at another small bazaar called Tagab and halted again, this time for praying. That gave me time to talk to people and take some pictures. I asked a small boy if he went to school. "If I go to school, who is going to give me food? I am a shepherd here," he answered.

A young man, asked about education in the area, pointed at some place in the distance and explained that there was the only and first intermediate school ever in the area, built last year. Turning around and pointing to another part of the village: "Here is the only hospital which was newly constructed for us. Before that, we had to take our patients to Kabul, most died on the way, only a few survived."

The hospital has only three doctors. Patients are being brought here from all over the Behsood.

Going to unknown trip

------
I had always dream of discover, where I lost my kids, where I stared to fox’s green-eyes. The day, when I found my treasure, was an old book. It was a bunch of love poems. This book, later helped me to write in top of my love letter to my beloved but she never looked back and never heard my heart beat. She went until I swallow my tears. She went but drove me to trace her in poems, story and sounds.

Later on I wrote down for her absence:

Burned my garden of tulips,
Gone flower of my side
Without you, I have neither color nor scent
Oh, your step is my spring

And now I am going to unknown trip. Where Paulo Cohilo found her love “Fatima” in the oasis of Egypt in red dress carrying jug of water, where he was searching to discover his treasure which a gypsy woman whispered him. No, I am not going to feel in love but not certain again. Oh I am going to discover some where but where? That is unknown for me.
A trip to unknown territory may be which is not discovered yet.

My absence here has two powerful reasons:
Either I am gone to the land of dead
Or I am alive but don’t have access to internet.

Your comments make me courage and feel not alone.

But the news never heard from media

------

"Early morning my mother gave me these eggs to sell them in the street in order to buy food. It was too cold to hold these in my frozen hands.
The eggs were supposed to help us survive, but i am not to go back like this..." the child said.

Excerpt: Nowadays, many Afghan children are working and selling eggs, cigarettes, plastic bags, chewing gum, and lots of other cheap things in the streets. Many others lay naked on the streets to attract passionate people to give them money.
Many others have been taken from the streets and smuggled into Pakistan. A few smugglers have been arrested but they are still active.

Day by day live is becoming more frustrating for Afghan children. There's no safe shelter nor places nor funds to educate them. There was horrible news from an orphanage in Kabul of which the manager was a man. He raped several children of different age, but the news never heard from media.
I heard this from a 12 years old girl who was allowed to enter and talk with some of the orphans. Many of them told her, "We were raped several times by our manager".

Who is hearing these voices? Who cares about Afghan children?

Last night i chatted with a friend of mine in the Netherlands. I was telling him the news from Kabul, that over the last year 1107 innocent people had been killed.
He said "when I am hearing such news i get sick".
But i told him that such news is very familiar to us, hearing about suicide attacks, that injure lots of people.

When is Afghanistan going to be healed?
That would be a dream i think, for each Afghan.

Women Born Into 'Bad Luck' in Afghanistan
Five-year-old Fawzia was lying in the sand and didn't move. She was bleeding heavily from what was left of her private parts. Mohammad could only stare at her, frozen in awe. Five minutes earlier, he had been at the back of his house chopping wood when a child came running up to him. "They've kidnapped her!" the child yelled. "The man with the white scarf has taken her!" That man with a white scarf had come to the playground where Fawzia frolicked, punched her in the face and taken her to a garden.
There, he raped her.

"These crimes are common in Afghanistan," says Sajeda of RAWA, an organization that fights
for women's rights.

A press statement issued in Kabul said the remarks showed an inadequate understanding of Islam and warrants for an apology to Muslims, the followers of a religion of peace and reconciliation.

In these circumstances, where there is a demanding need for measures towards reconciliation of different beliefs, such expressions increase tension among the followers of different religions.

Afghanistan & five years after September 11

--------
Five years ago at the same day the world witnessed an event which didn’t happen in the history. At this day more than three thousand lost their live. At this day lots of others became sad and wept but here in Afghanistan this was a day that after, each Afghan was dreaming to his freedom for his country and his life. A alike releasing from jail indeed. A day which came up to give live to Afghans.

After September 11th one of the most urgent action and indication from U.S was attacking against Taliban regime which also received help from northern alliance and people of Afghanistan. It was expecting that the U.S will stand beside Afghanistan to the end for removal of terror from this land.
The president of the United States George W. Bush has promised for developing and building Afghanistan as a model in the region and among Muslim countries but regretfully contrary to Afghan expectations from the United States there is no news from making Afghanistan as a model or development.

When U.S started war against Sadam hosein regime, the world and U.S attention diverted from Afghanistan to Iraq, in some point they left their serious tasks uncompleted in order to get success in Iraq.

In the five years not only the terrorism eradicated but increased not only in Afghanistan but other Muslim countries. Unfortunately the security situation in both country Afghanistan and Iraq is getting worse. Suicide attacks increased in the capital, the continuing of this situation people think that they lost their dreams for peace and prosperity of their country.

The world and U.S made a mistake which thought Taliban after their fall has finished. Whereas they returned back to their religious schools. The United States underestimated the Taliban which recently the Coalition Forces accepted that they made a mistake. The United States and the world community never tried to talk and put pressure the Pakistan government that supporting the Taliban.

NATO and Important mission in Afghanistan

----------
Recently Insecurity and suicide attacks against coalition forces and Afghan forces are not stopped but increasing in southern Afghanistan. Last week on 31st of July U.S forces handed over the peace keeping responsibility in southern Afghanistan to NATO forces.
NATO authorities have mentioned that this mission would be the most difficult one in 57 years of this organization.

The most important thing which nowadays people expecting from NATO forces is to avoid killing civilian as U.S forces had killed and destroyed many villages by air strike.
They say; how long this land should burn in fire and how long we should hear war and war. More than two decades of war, everything demolished.

Although I believe that no differ between U.S and forces and NATO being in Afghanistan but the most important things are to not experience the mistakes from previous. For the last years of American troops in southern Afghanistan nothing has changed rather than strengthening the Taliban and terrorists.

- NATO should pay attention in the following facts which are mostly sensitive for Afghanistan and its people.

- Training the Afghan National Army and Police which are mostly involved in smuggling and Mafia.

- Involving in helping and reconstruction and helping the repatriated refugees from neighboring countries.

Respecting the people’s religious believes and traditions which are very sensitive.

I believe if they pay attention in the above sentences and receive the experiences from American forces they will succeed if not, their destiny would be the same as coalition forces has experience in the past years.

Coalition forces caused bloody riot in Kabul

-----
On may 29 a road accident by coalition forces caused a bloody riot in Kabul city on Monday as known yet tens of people were killed in and more than hundred including the police forces wounded.

The riot began while a coalition force vehicle heavily loaded was cruising down from a slopping way hit the coalition vehicle then a tax, leaving one dead and six civilians wounded badly. Very soon people are gathering to witness the accident; suddenly they began throwing stones on coalition forces and police. The coalition force and police were surrounded by protestors to disperse them coalition force and police open fire on them which left more dead and wounded. A report says that the victims are exceeded from 45 people.

The angry protestor set on fire the traffic and police check points and lots of cars. They were chanting against U.S and Afghan government but holding Ahmadshah Masood picture ( a cruel and bloody-thirsty warlord in past which killed a few days before the September 11). The protestors were moving towards bank and stylish area to destroy and rob.

As i saw in west of Kabul.

A huge smoke raised from Darul Aman where the Ariana TV is located. I just decided to go there and snap. I amazed that most of the protesters were the student of Habibia High school. They had their schoolbag on their back a long stick in their hand, chanting slogan against U.S. They left the place on fire while they left i went to snap. I was taking picture while an angry police shouted over me: do you leave this place or I must shoot to you. I just had time to return my bike back. I start going to Ariana TV from streets to streets. While i reached a crowed place close to Ariana TV. The police opened fire over them just a few meters away from me there were two people fell down on the ground and never wake up. One was shot on his leg and the second was shot on his stomach. On the other side people were talking that there was more than five victims. This was the scene that i witnessed myself. I afraid of being killed by police I left the place soon.

U.S & Coalition forces weakness against Taliban (3 & final)

---------
The only thing which made people suspicious and pessimistic to the government are the deals and agreements which signed hidden and not giving reports or notice to the citizens. Such deals made people change their motivation and view to the government. For example a few days before their was an argument in parliament about why coalition forces are killing the civilians and why the U.S soldiers periodically killed the ANA (afghan national army) soldiers even did not excused?

As the U.S army spokesman told to media that it was a mistake but on the other side they should remind that this mistakes harm the honor and the reputation of the Karzai government. U.S soldiers should give report to the government and government has the responsibility to inform the citizens. They should clarify that why they attack on the villages which they have no specific information about the Taliban which attacked from where? Taliban are alike guerilla, they do not have a specific base.

This would not help to remove the Taliban from this territory easily. U.S and coalition army should handle the heavy job in supporting the Afghan police and Afghan army to teach them how to handle struggle against the insurgents inside the country. Because Afghans know their land better than foreign troops. This will reduce the numbers of victims.

Otherwise, if they do not pay attention, this may lead the future of this country to difficulties to numerous. The government should listen to their citizen what people request for. The government should clarify each step going forward with their dealers. The government should reports annually what has done and what are pending.

U.S & Coalition forces weakness against Taliban (2)

--------
Recently Karzai has delivered the list of new cabinets which involved mostly from intellectuals and the some of them with communist background, there is a hope for the people for betterment of tomorrow.

On the other side people are all aware what is going on in this country. People aware of ANA (afghan national army) and police authorities who directly involved in poppy smuggling and mafia. The interior ministry bases and police bases are diverted to base of smuggling. The mechanism of new management and changes have made no sense in decreasing the number of victims against insurgents in the country. However they are trying to deny their inaccuracies but among the people this is not something like not hide from view. The victim increasing due to lack of an organized management and mechanism.

Sadly to say that opposite of common expectations the new cabinet the number of crucial ministry occupied by non-professionals and not adequate figures. There was some which couldn’t get enough votes and didn’t have the circumstances enough but recommended again and elected. The prior minister of interior ministry fired from his job, the previous ministry of financed fired from his job because they both were linked to Zahir shah, Karzai afraid of those two, this was only to take a step ahead for preventing of clashes. And the new changes has no clear reason than hiring relatives and friends. They are not thinking about making a united nation, a power nation to forget the past of discrimination; to forgive and forget they were killing each other but they are only like a group mafia which only thinks about position and earning bucks. This is like a catastrophe which the dealer and Afghan authorities running in this country.

U.S & Coalition forces weakness against Taliban (1)

---------
Increasingly suicide bombing and attacks around the country especially in the southern against international and American forces made embarrassed those whom are involved in the game especially the U.S.A. This caused to an ill-considered action against rebels.
Military operations against Taliban and Alqaeda are nothing else but propaganda. What got the result of the latest operations and what were the previous operation results if did the operation?
Never heard the U.S military operation arrested the insurgents.

These kinds of operations not only decreased tension but doubled and changing people view badly. The fumblingly bombardment by U.S and international forces over the villagers in different area made an indignation among the people. This is increasing day by day not only in the southern but spread among other villagers. On the other side Taliban and Al Qaeda are strengthening day by day

The U.S military operations this time was a tragic event. According to coalition forces spokesman they killed more than 30 civilian in Kandahar and Zabul provinces. Among the victims there were many women and children. This time also repeated as the last deals; Karzai and coalition forces authorities satisfied only expressing excuses on their mistakes.

Again they announced seriously that they will investigate why they are killing the civilian, why they are killing the homeless people. The afghan people already knew such hallow promises and nothing got from investigations, this time wouldn’t be better than previous but reaped.

As we have parliament now, but I am amazing what they are dealing about? At least they should take a bit responsibility against crimes and tragic events in the country which driving to a terrible future. At least to bring their voice up why this tragic is not ending in our country??

Trip reports from Kabul to Peshawar (2 final)

----
On the way from Torkham border to Peshawar the car engine caused a problem, and we waited for a long time in the valley. I tried to talk some more with children who were surrounded the car. I couldn’t speak Pashto but a bit. They were asking me about Canadian soldiers in the south. They told me that a Canadian soldier killed their brother who was innocent. I told them I am not familiar with such issues and asked them why they were interested to know such things. They told me; this is our job as a Muslim. I asked bout their education; they told me they are going to the mosque to be trained by a local religious leader. I asked them if they have weapons in their houses. They told me that all people in the Tribal Aeria are armed.

It became dark when the car was fixed. The car was like a van. Other cars stopped on the way in front of mosque in the valley. An aged man called every one to get out of their cars and going to pray. Late at night I arrived in Peshawar.

On the border while the passport office stamped my visa for entering, I brought my camera out from my packet to snap the man who was selling nuts and fruits. Suddenly he shouted at me and ran towards me holding a short stick. I was surprised and shocked of what went on while the others just looked when the man attacked me. I took up my bag from the ground, and stared to the man with his long beard and mustache. He took my hand and asked me why you are taking photo from me? I told him: I liked your shop and the fruits you are selling here. The picture would be a gift for my friends in Kabul, to show them that I saw a shop with good fruits and a good shopkeeper.

He started screaming and asked violently: "don’t you know taking photos is prohibited in Islam?" I told him, I am sorry, I really don’t know, but I apologize to you, I didn’t take your photo. A policeman there came to me. He took the man off from me and I was relieved for a while. A person going to Kabul reached to me and said: "Don’t you know they are Taliban? don’t you know Taliban prohibited photography under their rule? I knew this from before but this was really an 'unawareness' scene for me.

Trip reports from Kabul to Peshawar (1)

---------
The last five days I didn’t have access to my Blog while I was in Peshawar (northern of Pakistan). I tried many Net cafes in the city but ISPs blocked the Blogger service. I heard from someone that blog service was banned when the Mohammad cartoons made Pakistan Muslims mad. So, I am sorry for those who asked question and I left no answer for them. I was in a short trip to Peshawar. I snapped a lot on the going to Peshawar and staying there.

Peshawar is a place which was and is a settlement for Afghan refugees over the last decades. Peshawar was a place for growing different Afghan parties. All wickedness takes its rise from Peshawar. Peshawar was a place for growing up the kernel of Taliban and a good place for ISI to well-versed in Afghan geopolitics and tools for Pakistan to help for U.S wants.

The U.S helped Mujaheedin parties to fight against the Soviet Union. Those who were trained and armed by the U.S. are now standing against the U.S. If you go to Peshawar, walls of mosques and homes there are full with slogans like "America get the hell out of here", "U.S. wants to make Afghanistan the center of chaos", "U.S. wants to vandalize the basics of our believes, we do not allow U.S in Afghanistan" and a lot more.

(I wanted to snap some these chants but a person prevented that the tribal area is not safe, so I should be careful). On Fridays Mullas (religious guys in mosques) gather people for praying. They start speeching about Islam commands and guidance but step by step go to political issues like Afghanistan, Kashmir, Iraq and Palestine. They are telling a few verses of Qoran and tell believers to be aware of their jobs, which God sent to them through Mohammad. When the prayers become provocative enough, they call them to Jihad against U.S. in Afghanistan and Iraq.

In Peshawar lots of religious schools run with the support of Saudi Arabs and some religious Arab and Pakistani guys. In those schools you can find students from different countries, like Afghanistan, Chechnya, Arab countries and from Africa. Most issues they learn about are related to Islam. They are getting trained to defend Islam, they are trained how to get ready for suicide attacking against those who are armed to the teeth. They believe this is the only way to make upset those friends which look after them as an evil. They believe that after such a suicide they are shifting to heaven directly by angels which come from God. They have strong believes in their religion...

Converting from Islam to Christianity

------------
As the news of Abdul Rahman vastly spread out in the world of Christianity, many countries called for sympathetic and supporting him. In the first days President Karzai received a phone call from the U.S foreign ministry Condoleesa Rice doubled tension among those Muslims toughed believers in the country. Converting to another religion from Islam is not easily driving to death but cogitating and more analyzing the condition and the situation.

On Wednesday morning reported to media that Abdul Rahman released from prison due to mental problem. But media still pointing on this issue that sparked a serious controversy inside the country. When the judiciary announced that Abdul Rahman should be executed according to Shariah law and a constitution because of converting to Christianity.

A few days before Abdul Rahman had said to the court: “they want to kill me because I am Christian. I believe in Christianity it means I am not infidel”.
His family told to media that he is an infidel and having mental problem but he himself told to media that I am in a good health and I am not afraid of execution, I will not get back to Islam.

Although various international leaders and countries asked from President Karzai to reconsider this issue and some of them warned that if Abdul Rahman go to death they will take out their soldiers from Afghanistan. Pope Benedictus also asked for a fair trial from Karzai.
Abdul Rahman was releasing while tens of fundamentalist parties were coming around to arrange a huge demonstration against U.S.A and those countries which are directly asked for releasing Abdul Rahman. Although thousands of people run on the street in northern to protest against U.S.

Anyway Afghan government released him from prison; this was not accidentally but so wisely from Afghanistan government. If this issue would get a week longer surely it was another controversial subject as Danish cartoonist. Some believed that this may cause for provoking those who still having the shadow of Taliban in the southern.

I believe that this was only a collusion in the country. This was a serious threat against U.S and Karzai government especially for the latest changes which entered talented figures in his cabinet from previous communist regime which Muslim fundamentalists oppose on them. This can be a reason otherwise what is the necessity to carry out the Bible on the street and shows for the others that I become a Christian. We have Hindus and Christian in the country and they are living peacefully. The Christians have church in the capital I am sure the government knows about it.

Abdul Rahman lived for a long time in Pakistan and was known in the past as a fundamentalist. He had worked for Mudjaheedin and had fought against the Soviet Union. Many were talking that he was accused to espionage for ISI. This makes clear for people that he was an active member of Jamiat Islami party which was lead by Ahmadshah Masood, a warlord (The warlord who destroyed the Kabul city vastly). Assassinated by a suspected terrorist just a week before September 11, 2001. In recent years Abdul Rahman was living in Germany, but was deported last year after his asylum seeking was rejected. Abdul Rahman went out of the country but now caused a big tension in the country which can not be stopped soon very easily.

My Farsi blog hacked by Saudi

-------
My Farsi blog www.kabuli.org was hacked by some idiots. Recently I wrote an article about Sex and Quraan (Muslim holey book), Sex and Islamic society in my Farsi blog. Over the last few days I received lots of critics and warnings. And yesterday I received a message that told me I had to ask God for forgiveness. They warned me to stop writing about Islam. They told me to wait for the results of what I wrote about Sex and Quraan in my Farsi blog. I mentioned a verse from Quraan that gives direction to Anal Sex. And I wrote something about women and taboos in Islamic society.
I am not sure how it’s possible to trace and find them. Who enlightens me?
So today I am really sad; I lost my posts and I am sad that people who hosted me are not too reliable and secure which I thought they were. Ipaid and asked them to take care of it. It’s very normal that my Farsi blog goes down for almost five hours in 24 hours and I’m really tired of such inconveniences.

For the hackers: I am sure that hackers who do jobs like this one are like terrorists and as brutal as al-Qaeda. They are only different in position and place. Their attacks are against your mind, thoughts, and believes. They terrorise your pen, your freedom and independency. They are attacks to limit the world to say no to freedom of expression. Hackers are criminals like Saddam Hussain, just a bit different.

I am depressed; I had no archive of my posts. I kindly ask, if you are able please help me. I want to host my Blog somewhere in a very secure host server. I am ready to pay to advertise but I need a secure place to publish my thoughts.

Please help me!

As The World Turns

---------
If we could shrink the earth's population to avillage of precisely 100 people, with all the existinghuman ratios remaining the same, it would looksomething like the following.

There would be:

57 Asians

21 Europeans
14 from the Western Hemisphere, both north and south
8 would be Africans

52 would be female48 would be male

30 would be white70 would be non-white
70 would be non-Christian30 would be Christian
89 would be heterosexual11 would be homosexual

6 people would possess 59% of the entire world's wealthand all 6 would be from the USA.

80 would live in substandard housing
70 would be unable to read
50 would suffer from malnutrition
1 would be near death
1 would be near birth

1 (yes, only 1) would havea college education

1 (yes, only1) would own computer.

When one considers our world from such a compressed perspective,we realize the need for acceptance, understanding and education.

And, therefore...
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roofoverhead and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, youare more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change ina dish someplace, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If you can attend a religious meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death, you are more blessed thanthree billion people in the world.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness ofimprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation, you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.

If you can read this message you are more blessed than the overtwo billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

As you read this and are reminded how lifeis in the rest of the world, rememberjust how blessed you really are!
